Records of a firm of merchant traders and shipbuilders founded in Plymouth, Mass. in 1800. There are letters, account sales, invoices, and freight lists, arranged by ship. Bound volumes include a waste book, 1818-1825; a daybook of merchandise, 1818-1827; and a letter book, 1818-1820. The firm was known as Daniel Jackson and Son after 1818. Ships owned included the brigs Ganges, Aurora, Union, Lucy, Commerce, and Orion.
